There was a pretty good turn out for our match with Banff, Moray & Nairn CC, despite a few of our members being away at other shows, and it was an enjoyable day.
Thanks very much to Neave for giving up her time to come and judge. As you can see from two of the photos below, anyone judging a match has to be prepared for some unusual combinations! We were just commenting on how you couldn't get two more different breeds than Malibu, the Chinese crested, and Arran, the GSD, when who should follow them into the ring but Annie, Great Dane, and Jenny Taylor's Yorkie!!
Thanks also to everyone who donated food and raffles, to those slaving over hot pizza in the kitchen and to Nicky for creating rosettes with a real wow factor.
Elizabeth's already successful week was topped off nicely when Asher went Best in Match. Linda Younie's Moray was Reserve Best in Match. Karen's Poppy ended her time in the puppy classes on a high when she was declared Best Puppy in Match and Morag's Arran showed he is still going strong by winning Best Veteran in Match. There was a bit of sibling rivalry in the Junior Handling class and Glenn was thrilled to beat Caitlin and go Best Junior Handler. Last, but by no means least, Nicky got to take home one of her own rosettes when Rosie won the Best of the Rest class.
Well done everyone!
