Banff, Moray & Nairn Canine Club

BMNCC's open show was held on Saturday at an extremely windy Lossiemouth, thank goodness it was an indoor show!

There were many wins for club members so I'll split them into groups.

The biggest success came from the terrier group with Jock's Chardonnay being declared Best in Show and his Lewis Reserve Best Puppy in Show. This is the second time that Chardonnay has had BIS at Banff, Moray and Nairn - must be her lucky show. Congratulations Jock and well done to Anne who was handling Chardonnay. Another place in the terrier group went to Clare's Kyla, she was BOB and G4.

Toys - Sue's Desmond and Pansy both won their classes, Linda's TJ won his but the boys had to give way to Pansy who went Best of Breed and then took the group. Linda's Mollie won her NSC class and Les and Rita's Queenie was Best Toy Puppy.

Hounds - Bob's Luka beat brother Bo for Best of Breed and he also went G4. Heather's Fraya won her class and BOB. Dougie and Erica's Charlotte was 1st in her class, Nicky's Alfie won his and then he took BOB.

Pastoral - Katrina's Leo was still on form, he won his class, BOB and G3 (not bad for just out of puppy!). Morag's Arran was BOB and G4. The slippery floor was not to Linda and Vic's Gino's liking but he still managed to win his class and BOB.

Working - Joanne and Mark's Annie had to take 2nd place to her brother this time (nothing to do with Morag's handling!) as Walter took BOB and then G3. June's Benson just couldn't wait to get into the ring (he attempted to join the toy group and then Junior Handling) and when he did he got another Best Working Puppy.

Gundogs - There were four club members in the gundog group line-up. Elizabeth's Bronni is still on a roll, she took BOB and G3. Jennifer's Riley was also BOB as was Fran's Diesel. Sue's Finlay was another and her Logan won a large AV Gundog Novice class.

Utility - We seem to have a lack of Utility dogs at the club but Linda and Ron kept the Spey Valley flag flying. Ruby was taken along mainly for a day out but she went on to prove that she really shouldn't be left at home by taking BOB and also G3!

Glenn won the 6-11 year Junior Handling class, Ria was 2nd.

Congratulations to all the winners!

As usual, if I've missed something please let me know.
