Arbroath Community Hall was the setting for Angus and Kincardine CA Open show last Sunday and it turned out to be a good show for quite a few club members.
Nicky's Alfie took Best of Breed and then won the group. Apart from giving Nicky the thrill of being in a Best in Show line-up for the first time, this win now means Alfie only needs four more points for his Show Certificate of Merit - fingers crossed for Lochaber!
Daveena's Inka was Best Terrier and Karen's Poppy Best Terrier Puppy.
Ria's Jasper was Best Toy Minor Puppy.
Liz's Erin (I think) was Best of Breed.
Fran's Diesel was also Best of Breed.
In the junior handling classes it was Glen's turn for a red rosette when he won his class.
Congratulations to everyone.
I'm still hoping for a few more photos and also more detailed results so watch this space. Thanks to Jenny for taking these photos, it isn't the best of halls when it comes to lighting.
Perthshire Canine Club's Open show was held on Saturday but I don't think I have much to report from it (photos and news would be welcomed).
I do know that the junior handling classes there are Crufts qualifiers so Caitlin will be very pleased to have gone Best Junior Handler. Well done.
The Companion show at Nethybridge was also on Saturday and I had hoped for a photo or two but nothing as yet. Congratulations to Heather whose Kayla went Best in Show.
