Unusually for Ingliston, the sun was shining and there was hardly a breath of wind for Friday (16th), the first day of the show, but it was all change for Saturday, being typically damp and cold. I'm not sure how the Sunday was but it just goes to show that you have to be prepared for all weathers at our outdoor shows.
There were quite a few good wins as well as some Crufts qualifying places for Spey Valley members.
Karen's Ceilidh won her class and went on to take the bitch CC - just one more to go!
Katrina's two pups started their show careers in style - Phoebe was 3rd in Minor Puppy Bitch and Leo did extremely well by winning Minor Puppy Dog, Best Dog Puppy and then Best Puppy!
Lynne's Pamona won her class and then took Best Bitch.
Joanne's Walter won his Post Grad class and Annie was 2nd in hers.
Sue's Gennasus papillons had a good day, Desmond qualified with his 3rd in Junior, Rosa won her Puppy Bitch class then Best Puppy Bitch and was up against her homebred brother (now owned by someone else) for Best Puppy, which he took. Desmond had another qualifying place at the Scottish Papillon Club champ show the following day with 2nd in Junior.
Congratulations all round!
