Companion show at Insch
Donside Ringcraft Club held a well attended companion show at Insch last Sunday and it turned out to be a winning day for our whippets. Liz's Erin took Reserve Best In Show and John and Niamh's Mia was Best Puppy In Show.
There was also a good result in the working class, June's Barney was 1st and Donna's River was 2nd.
By all accounts it was an enjoyable show with well filled classes. Well done to all the winners!
Thanks to Donna for the photos.

Last weekend's results
Last weekend was a busy one for Morag, she was at the Scottish Utility Club's show on Saturday followed by Perthshire CC's show the next day but the effort was well worthwhile as Logie took Best Import Register at both shows.
Leven and District CC's open obedience show was also held last weekend and Lisa had a great day with Max because they won the Pre-Beginners class. This means that they have now won out of this class. Good luck in Beginners and Novice, Lisa!
The Import Register class at Perth - very nearly a Eurasier class!
Manfred - Best Working Puppy
The junior handling classes at this show are qualifiers for Richmond with 1st to 3rd places going through. Both Ria and Caitlin made the grade after being placed 2nd in their respective classes.Perth show was not one of the most successful for club members, wins were thin on the ground, but I do have a few to mention.
For the second week running, Joanne's Manfred was Best Working Puppy. Sue's Gypsy won the toy veteran class.

Ross and Cromarty Open Show
Ross and Cromarty Canine Club's Open show was held last Sunday at Invergordon. The weather was beautiful, very warm and sunny, what a pity it wasn't an outdoor show.
Once again, June's Benson took top honours, he went Best Of Breed, took the group and was then declared Best In Show - his 7th such award. Well done and keep it up Benson!
Caitlin and Solo were also up there at the top, in fact they appeared in both the line up for Best In Show as well as Best Puppy In Show after Solo won the terrier group as well as Best Terrier Pup! Congratulations!
A number of other club members did very well, here's a round up of results:
Working - Donna's River won his class but was beaten to BOB by Joanne's Walter who went on to G2. Joanne also had success with Manfred who took Best Working Puppy.
Pastoral - Roseanne's Toby and St John both won their classes and Toby took BOB. Katrina's Marty and Leo also both won their classes with BOB going to Leo. Jenny's Sadie was BOB and also G4.
Terriers - Caitlin's Solo, as above. Karen's Poppy took Best NSC and also G2.
Hounds - Erica's Charlotte was BOB and G3.
.
Gundogs - Fran's Diesel was BOB as was Sue's Finlay.
Utility - Morag's Logie was Best Import Register.
Toy - Jill's Chico was BOB plus G2 and his son, Cracker, won the toy minor puppy class. Ria's Jasper won his class, BOB and G3. Linda's Mollie was Best NSC and G4.
Well done everybody!
Thanks to Fran for the photo of Charlotte, I missed the hound and gundog groups completely so any photos would be welcome as well as any news that I may have missed.
