Moray Firth Ringcraft Club held a companion show at North Kessock on Sunday.

Well done to Joanne and Mark's Walter, Heather's Sasha and Linda's Mollie who won their respective classes. Well done also to Caitlin who won the Junior Handling class and to Bob's Luca who was declared Most Handsome Dog.

Best in Show line-up. The springer, Gunner, went on to win.

Results from Crufts

A good number of members were in the cards at Crufts, I hope to have photos soon but, in the meantime, here's how they all did.

Big congratulations to three who actually managed to win their classes amidst strong competition. Elizabeth's Bronni won her Open Bitch class, Jill's Chico won his Yearling Dog class and Linda and Vic's Gino was first in his Graduate Dog class. Well done all, you must have been thrilled to bits!

Elizabeth's Asher took 5th in Limit Dog so she had a wonderful Crufts with both her entered dogs being placed.

Daveena's Rowan was 2nd in Junior Bitch, her turn to beat her sister, Karen's Poppy, who was 5th in the same class. Karen's Fergus was 2nd in Veteran Dog and Ceilidh 5th in Open Bitch.

Jock also had a good day with two of his dogs being placed. Lewis was 2nd in Puppy Dog and Wee Dram was 5th in Limit Dog.

The whippet classes were enormous so Liz's Poppy did extremely well to get a 5th in her Yearling Bitch class.

Border collies were another breed which had huge classes, Katrina's Star was 5th in Post Graduate Bitch and Leo was pulled into the final six in Junior Dog but just missed out on a place.

Jennifer's Wallace was 2nd in his Good Citizen Dog class.

Elizabeth and George's Giovanni was 2nd in his Junior Dog class and their Lilianna took 3rd in her Post Graduate Bitch class.

Well done everybody!!

Matches

Banff, Moray & Nairn CC will be having a members' match night at Spynie on Monday 16th at 7.30pm.

Our club will be holding an obedience match on Saturday, 21st March in the hall. Entries will be taken from 10am with judging starting at 11am. There will be three classes to cover all abilities and everyone is welcome. The judge will be Arlene Deans from Aberdeen Canine Training Society. Refreshments will be available.

Crufts

Crufts starts tomorrow so it's a big GOOD LUCK to all club members who are making the exciting trip south.

Even though the BBC are not filming the show, those who won't be there can still see a bit of the action because the Kennel Club will be screening some of it on their website, you can find it here. And don't forget to check out Fosse Data for the latest results from the breed rings.

Below are some of the dogs who have qualified this year. If your dog is one of the qualifiers then please send in a photo so that I can include it.
