The club has invited Donside and Silver City Ringcraft clubs to a show match in the hall on Saturday 23rd February. Entries from 11am, judging at 12noon. The judge will be Helen Henderson (Nigg). There will be a class for puppies and veterans and also one for junior handlers if there is enough interest.
Another match to look forward to, this time for obedience. It will be held at the hall on March 29th and the judge will be Jim Mackay. This match is open to all and there will be three classes - from very basic to suit any beginners up to more challenging for the more advanced.
There will be refreshments and a raffle at both matches.

Bon Accord Kennel Association
Bon Accord's first open show of the year was held on a very icy January 12th at the new venue, Thainstone. With very large car parks there was no problem finding a space but great care had to be taken getting to the hall as the whole area was like a skating rink! Not so easy whilst carrying show gear and holding onto a couple of large dogs.
It is a good venue, with great food available, but suffered from being rather cramped around the rings. Perhaps next January a few alterations could be made to improve the situation.
There were some successes for club members, please let me know of any I have missed.
Terriers - Karen's Ceilidh was BOB & G3
Hounds - Joan's Maddie was BOB, G2 and best hound veteran. Nicky's Alfie was BOB and G4.
Working - Joanne's Walter was BOB (must have been down to Mark's expertise as a handler).
Gundogs - Jennifer's Riley won his class and Elizabeth's Bronni won hers. Lynne's Luigi was best nsc.
Toys - Sue's Louis was best toy veteran and best veteran in show.
Sorry, I didn't have my camera handy so not many photos to post.

Happy New Year
Happy New Year to everyone and good luck for all the competitions in 2008.
It all seems so long ago now but here are some photos of the Christmas party, which seemed to be enjoyed by dogs and owners alike. The sausage race was the highlight of the night, not many could refuse the temptation - Heather's whippets excelled, maybe thinking of their figures.
